The Legend

"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon
"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny |

If you beat BIG MAC...I will put you against either Redneck or ProfsBack.
If you beat one of those as well as BIG MAC...you will have a title shot.

Normal one. Captain just had a title shot in the last event. You've had a title shot before..maybe even 2 I think?
John aint had a shot before so I gotta get him his shot very soon. If you get back a winning streak you will get a shot soon for sure. Just beat Captain and then after him I'll put you against 2 more...beat them and you get another shot.
I'm not sure who is gunna get a shot in the next event after the Viper vs African title fight. I'll check through fighter records and see who has a good PDP record and who aint had shots before! I wanna try give everyone a chance to fight for it...but I can't give it to people who aint fought much or who have a bad PDP record.

I just looked at all of the PDP fighter historys and there are no "clear cut" candidates for a title shot in the next event. I considered these people but here are the reasons I can't pick them so soon:
John has a poor PDP record but this is because he used to be a poor fighter...now he has improved A LOT...but still, beating BIG MAC isn't really enough to warrent a title shot. That's why I said he needs to beat either Redneck or TRPCHE in the next event first...then he gets a shot.
Fernando Vargas has a perfect record of 2-0...with wins against good opposition- John and TRPCHE. However I don't want anyone walking into PDP and getting a title shot almost right away...especially when I have fighters that have been with PDP from the start..or almost from the beginning...so Vargas needs a few more wins under his belt before he gets a shot.
Goldenboy has had a few shots before...plus I think he is inactive now? He has a perfect 4-0 record but I can't give him a shot because he aint fought in PDP for a long, long time. If he comes back and wins a couple more then he will get a shot.
ProfsBack has a good record and the possible prospect of him fighting Red Viper in a PDP title fight would be really nice as they always have shit to say about each other...it's a promoters dream having all of this hype and bad blood involved! However he hasn't fought for a long time. He recently declared he is back and ready to fight again...so maybe he will get a shot soon after a fight or two.
So there you have it... anyone have any intelligent suggestions at who deserves a shot? Take into account PDP record and activity in PDP...and also priority goes to fighters that aint had a shot yet!

You came back online like you said so thanks. Here is that fight:
http://onlineboxing.net/applet/index.jsp?fight_id=738698
gf
PS- Its not best out of 3...I only just got online before n we fought each other without speaking about it being for PDP before the fight...you only said "was that for PDP?" after the fight...we didn't agree to it being a PDP fight before it happened! I always have warm-up fights after what happened last time round! So we fought again..I won that...and we just agreed to fight again for what counts and I won that too. Hope there's no hard feelings...if there are..I will put you against Vargas in a death match!
