Hmm monk gamepad is not the he same as joystick today. I really don't know. I have a so called "gamepad" but I know there's also so called "joysticks". From what I've read the joysticks are use more in flightsims and such..but I'm not 100% sure.
Have patience a little more it's almost there.
Remember..always uninstall the old drivers before you install the new ones. I know it's not very practical but that's how it is right now.
warp wrote:Alright, before people say to me "Go read the topic at the top." I have, numerous times. However, I still can't get the 3d game to work.

I have Jaya 1.something (I know it's over 5)

I have the engine you need to run it.

And I put it on all the lowest settings.

Though, I hit ok and the screen just disapers and it doesn't come back up. I have Windows Xp pro by the way, so is that the problem?

Will the new 3d version with multiplayer coming out fix it? If anyone could help me fix it, that would be great.

Thanks.

I'm doing my best to fix this and numerous other things. Don't worry it will be fixed.

Yeah multiplayer is not done yet.
I dont know..did you try using internet explorer instead ?
Do you run windows or linux ? Because it only works on windows.
It's right reaper try to stay on topic. There's no reason to turn everything into a reaper thread.
Yes but before you re-install, uninstall the old version,
Good video.
Very very soon
There hasnt been server chance for more than 3 years so it can't be that. I think it's java itself skipping frames. The dudes at sun has not made standard java very game friendly.
OB3D uses opengl and a gameengine specific for writing games in Java. So I can guarantee that it won't be a problem.

I dont know.
I really don't know, I tested with a gamepad from logitech. But I think a gamepad is pretty standard
Just to let you know..

I'm dropping this dumbness..I don't like 3D who needs 3D ? 3D is not here to stay, the world is clearly moving towards 2d anyway. 2 dimensions are enough..

Ok to get real. 3D multi player should be finished in about 2 weeks, maybe less. No records and stuff will be maintained in the beginning. But you will be able to fight the other guy.

PS get a gamepad for this it is so much better for 3D than keyboard.
