What's the error ?
Maybe you have an old version of Java ?
Also try to put it in its own folder, example c:\games\onlineboxing
You can't do much only punch a heavybag. Still it should give you a good idea of what OB3D is about. Next step is to unlock the "sparring" menu item, so you can fight in sparring sessions. After that comes real fights which of course is easier to make when "sparring" works.
I'll just try to slowly make the grayed out areas active.

Thanks. Yeah but had a ot of help from the Java community. They provided invaluable help in the form of engines and libraries.
Ray Johnson wrote:There are some problems:
- Getting pushed out of the ring by the bag
- Getting stuck in the ground
- Getting chucked into the air by the bag
- Floor is a bit dodgy, keeps flashing and stuff
- The jabs ( 9 and z+9 stay in punch action and the hand shakes violently.

Sure theres problems. Not perfect yet. Just be patient these are very very small things and easy to fix.
I see your point Nigel and I didn't remember that. I'm 2 busy right now with work and 3D so I can't give this game proper attention.
Sorry Nigel I didn't see any reason to give anyone in particular all 4 titles. Being number one in the current rankings doesn't really mean that you're number one (not saying that you aren't though).
It was just to get the titles started again. What would it mean really to get handed all 4 titles on a silverplate anyway ? Wouldn't really make you a superchamp would it ?

Look at http://onlineboxing.net/boxing/main/
Didn't have time to set up a tourno for this. Good luck with the titles.

Ray Johnson wrote:Yeah, $200 a month. Is that the electricity bill for leaving the computer on 24/7?

Go TO http://fluiddata.com/dedicated if you don't believe it.
It's for the connection, the electricity, the automatic backup and those good people also have to make a living. Nothing is free.

Whoa, surely leaving your computer on would cost less?

Yeah but I also need my connection and my computer for other stuff (like making this game). I even couldn't get a connection like they have, 99.9 free of lag even when people are surfing the site or downloading the game. Can upgrade it at demand also. So it's really the connection that cost, not the computer itself.

I think the 200 dollar server is a pretty small server. I doubt thats how many people ob could handle he probably just typed that in just like when u make your own server.

Yes your right HTF the OB game server is just started as any other server. But there's more than that, a central server is needed to handle all other servers, to keep track of records/fights, webpages and downloads.
Would you please calm down..lol !?!
Yes I like that idea. Today it is close to impossible for most to get in and it discourages many.
