I have come up with this idea to give Tournament Room a better meaning than just 12 round fights....

This is just an idea but if alot of people like it i will put it into motion..
Tell me what you all think.
If idea does good..this will be held Seasonally.

1. Get about 3 Teams with captains...Vets
2.Get people to sign up for tha draft on here
3.Do pick order by the captains fighting...
4.Than draft in order untill each team has like 4 fighters.
5.All the teams compete against each other based on the # u were picked (i.e if say john is picked 2nd of my team he would fight say redneck picked 2nd on Vipers team and so on)
6.When all fights are fought take the remainding team and have them fight tourney style.(i.e if oh sayyy P4P won than by pick number u would fight..so 1st pick would fight 4th pick 2nd 3rd n than the winner of those two fights face each other and the winner faces the captain of the team)
7.-OPTIONAL- if we want to make it a little longer we can add Wild Card selections to give the Captains a bigger challenge.
8.The winner recieves the Tournament Title(applied by Mikkel if this goes well)

------------------------------------------------------------
Examples of how it would go
-------------------------------------------------------------

4 Groups of 4 so 16 people cuz it will be hard finding anymore tht will be on.
The draft will not be random. the Team leaders will fight for there draft pick number...So say that i win my fights and i have 1st pick..and oh sayy Redneck is avalible..id pick him hes my 1st pick..so after the runner up n the leader fights picks thts 2nd pick Overall-BUT 1ST FOR THERE TEAM lets just say the 2nd overrall pick was Captain America...Redneck and Cap would have to fight cuz there both 1st picked by there team.
Team 1 will vs Team 2
Team 3 will vs Team 4

So i could go lyk this
1 vs 2 - 3 vs 4
W L W L

-So Teams 1 and 3 goto Group Finals-
Final Round would be..
1 vs 3
L W

Team 3 Wins group Finals-They are the Championship winning Team.

Than Team 3 has to fight each other for singles championship, the main one (which will possibly get "Champ" next to his name in tourney)
The fights n group will go by draft order...i.e.
If Team 3 was..
Captain-Vargas
1st Pick-Dick
2nd Pick-Maragon
3rd Pick-John
Than Captain-Vargas vs Dick
2nd Pick-Maragon vs 3rd Pick John

The Teams will be mixed up each time so there will be no defending team title...So if one team is dominating the tournament it will be completly different the next time...
As for the Single-Main Championship it will be defended..Now lemme explain how this goes.
The Singles Champ cannot participate in the next tournament untill the very end. When the Captain and 1st pick of winning team face..the winner will face the defending champ.
The winner of this is the NEW or REGAINING champ.

I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon

"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny

No its not clans...its Teams it a combination of Your idea,Gyms, and regular tourneys...The teams will probally change every time and theres only 1 winner not the whole team..because at the end if ur team won against the rest..which ever team has people remaining they have to fight each other to determine the tourneys overall winner.

It could be lyk 4 teams with 3 drafted fighters and 1 captain So 4 teams of 4...only needing 16 fighters to do it...

Ok it would be lyk this...say for example the captains were...
Me-Skillz
Viper
Rocky
Vargas

than my team would face vipers team while rockys team faces vargas's team...the 2 winners face each other and the winning team faces each other...

Team wins would go by which ever team has more wins in a Best 2 of 3 format..So if u win ur best 2 of 3..thts 1 win or point for ur team..

there is a difference in this and tournys though.

this is like the nfl.
draft players make em fight and see who wins.

tournys r different

sounds good but i dont like how we have to play for someone ...i dont want someone that will boss me around in a game....

Your not gnna be gettin bossed..it'll be lyk regular OB u just fight and when its time for ur match u get on while a respectable Tournament Mod is on to record the winner...or if the fighters r trustable they can just get on themselves and fight then report it back here on the forums with both fighters agreeing on the outcome of the series...

Only thing the captain really does is pick u for his team. and if he wants to make he team better he can actually train u...Which would be good and bad cuz if u train ur team good u will beat other teams but when its time to face each other it may backfire..
And the other thing is the captains will be Vets so they have 1 less fight lol..(unless we add the wildcard..which would be lyk the 3 other captains fighting for a wildcard spot to fight the winning teams captain to make it a bit harder)

And its more lyk College Basketball

Too much for Mikkel to incorporate with him workin on 3D n all...if we try to add all tht he'd probally say no rather than just 1 person with "Champ" on his name in Tourney room.
