The old graphics? Like obv1 graphics or the grpahics that was in 07-ealry-08?
The OBV1, it's pretty much the same as the current, just with Commodore 64 graphics.
Oh, I don't know. I came in around 07 so I can't tell the difference. Unless your talking about the pic on your sig. The first one.
Yes the first picture, that's the first OB. I've made it on the Commodore 64 first. You can still play the first version on a Commodore 64 emulator, like if you use WinVice. If anyone is interested I'll post the download.
I still have the original assembler code. It's very interesting to look at, but mostly from a nostalgic viewpoint.

The date is around 2002-2004, I'm not sure anymore.

Well let's just hope that the decade of experiences in boxing game I've made would benefit the next decade.

We are not helping enough. We should have been paying you a long time ago. All of us.
Alot did, back in the time..maybe it was a mistake of me to make if Free To Play, because I thought that more would be playing. But in fact, less was playing after. Very Strange.

Don't worry about the time, were in a very good time. I'll look at the settings you proposed and see what makes most sense.

It could probably be done using some of the ways that you describe. Problem is right now I would have to implement all that, and in the meantime OB would be down. But interesting suggestions.
Btw, I dont think most online games save all data on the users harddrive !?

Donny_king wrote:I've always thought you should make the server a dedicated one so anyone can start it from thier own server/home connection. This would take away all costs from your side and people could find servers by the owners listing them in a thread on the forum or you could have the server somehow broadcast it's address to the forum (seen this somewhere) and it could have the address, name and a little bar for online/offline status (like a gif that turns red or green).
Yes but where should the forum be then, if you broadcast to the forum ?
where would you download it from ?
where would records be saved it ? on each server ?

I need $38 to pay for the server next month.
Anyone interested in helping out ?
My own bank account is pretty trim (broke) or I would pay myself.
If not someone steps up I'm afraid OB stops next month.
Of course, it will re-open at one time again when I get the dough. But when ?
I can help out. I'll send you a pm when it's going to happen.
That sounds great John, thanks !
